OFFICE INAINN expanded a private residence in Ålesund with two pavilions and an outdoor pool, blending functionality with a connection to nature. The design emphasizes simplicity, sustainability, and natural materials, enhancing the home and outdoor living space.

Functionality and Relaxation
The main pavilion includes a sauna, toilet, and kitchen with a wood-fired oven, providing a warm, social space. The second pavilion functions as an outdoor recreation area and pool utility hub, while the pool itself offers a perfect retreat for warm days.

Natural Materials and Efficiency
The pavilions are constructed from laminated wood and CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber), combining strength with a minimalist aesthetic that blends into the landscape. The use of repeated timber elements ensures efficient construction, reflecting OFFICE INAINN’s commitment to sustainable, nature-integrated design.

Seamless Connection to Nature
The pavilions expand the living space while fostering a strong connection to the outdoors. 22-03 BADEHUSET exemplifies OFFICE INAINN’s dedication to creating sustainable, thoughtful designs that harmonize with the natural environment.
